Lady of the Night - Project Raventhorn

Here is one of the two characters I created for Raventhorn, our final school project. We were mainly inspired by Arcane and classic board games like Cluedo and Werewolves of Millers Hollow for the characters. We created a medieval country town set in the 1800s shrouded in mystery as strange and occult murders plague the village. With every villager cloaked in suspicion, the desperate mayor summons a detective from the capital. Armed with the latest technological innovations, the detective is resolute in his mission to unmask the killers and ensure they face the full force of justice.

She is Raventhorn’s lady of the night, the last one. She mingles with everyone, hears every rumor—she must know something about the murders...
For this project, I made some changes to my workflow. After baking, I focused on painting the base color in 3DCoat (my first time painting characters with this software), and then I used the albedo map to create the roughness map.

It was an absolute pleasure collaborating with five talented artists: Léna Duflots, Thaïs Bailleul, Théo Lefloch, Arthur Gaubert, and Axel Blin (their links are provided below). Thanks a lot to Artside and all the mentors we met along this last year.
